If you need to make a claim under your existing Insurance arrangements, please use the documents below.

Property Loss or Damage Claim Form:

  • Where your premises or contents have suffered loss or damage.

Employers' Liability Claim Form:

  • Where an Employee has been injured at work.

Public / Products Liability Claim Form:

  • Where a Third Party has been injured (Excluding road related incidents).
  • Where Third Party Property has been damaged (Excluding road related incidents).
  • Where a Product sold, serviced or supplied by you causes injury or damage to Third Parties.

Motor Claim Form:

  • Where your Motor Vehicle has been stolen or damaged.
  • Where your motor Vehicle damages Third Party Property or injures someone.
  • Where a Third Party Motorist claims to have been hit by your vehicle.

2. Insurer Risk Surveys

If any insurance cover arranged by us is made subject to a routine survey by your Insurers etc, we will also attend your premises along with the Insurer's Surveyor to represent your interests in any discussions relating to your business & any Risk Management issues etc.

By doing this, we can ensure that any improvement measures suggested by your Insurer's Surveyor are actually necessary & also cost effective from your point of view.

This should, therefore, prevent, for example, the need for unnecessary costly Alarm upgrades to be carried out, when, in our opinion, past exemplary claims record & also current effective physical security & Alarm protection in force are perfectly satisfactory for the risk exposure involved etc.

3. Claims Loss/ Damage Surveys

Similarly, in the event of a major loss by Fire or Flood etc, we will also attend at your premises along with the Loss Adjuster, appointed by your Insurers to deal with your claim.

Again, by doing this, we can ensure that all the necessary questions regarding cover & Policy issues are answered speedily & thus be able to accelerate the steps for a swift return to normal Business trading etc.

By being there, also, we can also hopefully speed up the approval of all Repair & Replacement estimates etc by the Loss Adjuster, thereby meaning that there is no undue delay in all work being started.

We would also arrange, as a matter of course, for Interim payments by Insurers to be authorised by the Adjuster for not only your Property damage but also for your Loss of Gross Revenue/ Profit, thereby enabling your Business to continue trading, despite the major disruption caused by the damage.

4. Corporate Insurance Audits

For any client paying in excess of £3,000 per annum for their corporate insurances, Nixon James Corporate are happy to carry out a Corporate Insurance Audit of your existing insurance arrangements - all at no cost to your company.

In doing this, we can better determine whether your current insurance expenditure is competitive in the prevailing market place.

Full details of our Corporate Insurance Audit & its prime purpose & overall benefits to be achieved etc are found in our separate document.

5. Client Policy Registers

Unlike many Brokers who simply present their clients with a selection of complex Insurance Policy documents & leave them to try & unravel all the different legal jargon used etc, we try to do things a little better.

Furthermore, some Brokers, at Renewal stage, also tend to present their clients with an almost "derisory" 1 page "hand written" note outlining their Renewal Premiums etc for the forthcoming year, when annual premium spend could very well be significant for that client.

At Nixon James Corporate, we provide all our clients with a comprehensive Policy Register ( Cover Summary ) document detailing clearly the scope of the cover afforded by all their current Policies, including reference to any Terms & Conditions, Exclusions & Restrictions that might apply.

Our Register will also include details of Renewal Premium comparisons from the previous year together with the results of any Broker market exercise we have undertaken on their behalf & any Recommendations we propose etc.

By having this Policy Register to hand, therefore, all clients can refer easily to this single document, whenever necessary, as a useful referral source for all insurance issues relating to their Business, rather than having to trawl through many different Insurer Policy documents to find details of the cover currently arranged.

6. "To whom it may concern" Cover Summary document

In addition, as an integral part of our general Renewal process for our clients, we also provide a separate " To whom it may concern " Cover Summary document which provides a brief summary of all Policy cover arranged etc.

Many of our clients tell us they find this of great value whenever they are asked by new or existing Customers/ Suppliers to produce evidence of their current Insurance cover in place.

We provide this automatically at each Renewal & can also make this available in Word Document format so our Clients can simply attach this by email, if required, to any Third Party concerned.
